1. How fast can I lose weight with your program?
a. You can safely lose up to 2 pounds of fat per week without losing valuable muscle mass.
2. What is an average weight loss in your program?
a. It is about 1 pound per week. You will not lose valuable muscle mass at this rate.
3. Do I have to exercise to lose weight?
a. You do not have to exercise, but it speeds up the weight loss process while improving your health and increasing energy levels.
4. Does every patient have to take appetite suppressants?
a. No, only those who need help in repressing their hunger will medication be used. We will discuss those options with you.
5. Are appetite suppressants basically amphetamines?
a. No, they are not amphetamines; they are very distantly related
6. What supplements do you use?
a. We use a multivitamin; additionaly we recommend an Omega 3 & vitamin D3 supplement for all patients. (All vitamins are available in our office for purchase)
7. Do you use fat-burners?
a. We do not use fat burners as there is no scientific proof of the signigicant effects.
8. Do you use B-12 injections?
a. We use them and in some cases we recommend them, but they are optional.
9. Does B-12 give me more energy?
a. B-12 may make you feel better, but the response is very individualized.
10. Will balancing my hormones make me lose weight?
a. Balancing your hormones can play a big part in helping you attain your weight management goals.
11. Do I continue to take my regular medications?
a. Usually you do, unless we find that the medications you are taking make you gain weight. If so we will suggest an alternative medication for you to use.
